1. Who can join

Gal Gal is a community made for Jewish women. Members must be women aged 13 and over. Members aged 13 to 17 have a Gal Gal Teen account (see 1a). [MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY: to be confirmed after legal review, including any state laws on minors' social media accounts and parental consent.]

1a. Gal Gal Teen accounts (ages 13 to 17)

Teen accounts show a small "Gal Gal Teen" label on the profile. We never show a member's exact age or birthday. Teen accounts are private by default. Teens can watch, post, comment, follow, buy products, and watch and join other members' lives (including going on stage when the host invites them). Teens cannot start or host a live until they turn 18. Teens cannot sell products, become sellers or receive seller payouts until they turn 18. A teen can only exchange private messages (including group chats and rooms) with someone she has accepted and follows, and anyone can block another member at any time, which stops private messaging between them immediately. When a member turns 18, the label is removed and she may host lives and apply to sell, subject to the usual ID and payment checks. Members can report profiles, posts, comments, lives and private messages; reports about a minor's safety are handled first, and content may be hidden while it is reviewed. [LAWYER TO REVIEW: parental consent, purchases by minors, and teen ID verification.] To post, message, sell, buy or run ads you must create an account and pass an ID check. You may browse a limited number of public posts without an account.

2. Your account

Keep your login private and give accurate information. One person, one account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Community Rules.

3. Community Rules

Everything on Gal Gal (posts, captions, comments, messages, live shows, listings and ads) must follow the Community Rules shown in the app. That includes no swearing (including abbreviations), no bullying or insults, no hate, and no posts attacking any country or people. Every post and message is checked automatically before it goes up, and content that breaks the rules is blocked or removed.

4. Your content

You own what you post. You give Gal Gal a license to host, show and share it on Gal Gal and in Gal Gal promotion. Videos made with the Gal Gal camera get a Gal Gal outro with your @username; imported videos get your @username watermark. Only import content you own.

5. Gal Gal Pro

Pro costs $12 per month, billed monthly until you cancel. You can cancel any time in your account; Pro stays on until the end of the paid month. [REFUND POLICY]

6. Ads

Any member can run an ad for $2. Ads run for 24 hours. Every ad is checked against the Community Rules before you pay, and ads that break the rules cannot be bought. [REFUND POLICY FOR ADS]

7. Buying and selling

Sellers list their own items, must use a real photo of the item, and ship orders themselves. Payments are processed by Stripe. Gal Gal keeps a 6% referral fee on each sale; the rest goes to the seller through Stripe. Sellers are responsible for describing items honestly, shipping on time and any taxes they owe. [RETURNS AND DISPUTES POLICY]

7a. Daily Torah

Each morning members may say whether they'd like to create the day's Daily Torah video. Saying yes is free and there is nothing to buy. One member is chosen at random at 10:00 AM [TIME ZONE] and may post a Torah, Parsha or D'var Torah video under 1 minute by 1:00 PM. There is no prize other than being featured. The video is shown to members on the Home page that day and must follow the Community Rules. [CONFIRM WITH COUNSEL]

8. Payments

Card payments, payouts and ID checks are handled by Stripe. Gal Gal never sees your full card number or keeps copies of your ID.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account by contacting us. We may remove content or accounts that break these terms.

10. Disclaimers and limits

[LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION: to be written by a lawyer.]
